    Hi,

I am working on an interesting problem and facing issues, so I thought I would share it with you guys to get a fresh perspective.

I have completed a BMS design for a 48 V system and it is working flawlessly. I am conducting the tests as per the standards and I am failing to clear the short circuit test with an MCB.

The FETS in my BMS are getting shorted during the test (it is supposed to clear the short circuit fault). I tried reducing turn-off time of the FETS but it didn’t help me in any way. I also cross-checked for inductive kickback spikes and it is not the case.

Has anyone here in the forum faced similar issues? Please let me know to have an interesting discussion about this issue.

    Thank you!
