Acetonitrile Electrolyte

An acetonitrile (CH3CN) electrolyte with a salt and other additives has high ionic conductivity. This high ionic conductivity allows ease of movement of ions between the anode and cathode. Thus allowing faster charge and discharge.

With the right additives the acetonitrile electrolyte can enable a cell to work over a wide temperature range.
