- Energy = 1.9 kWh (total)
- Power ~ 44 kW10s
- Pack Mass = 27 kg
- Gravimetric Energy Density = 70.4 Wh/kg
- Gravimetric Power Density = 1646 W10s/kg
- Cooling = liquid
- Cooling plates appear to run between the cells cooling the side of the cells

Using the Battery Calculations Workbook it is possible to enter the basic cell parameters and then start estimating the battery pack configuration.

The best fit to the numbers we know is a pack configuration of 108s 2p.

The Porsche media released image of the pack shows the contactors and fuse sitting on the top of the pack.
The coolant flows in one end and out at the other end via the coolant connects on the top cover.
The BMS appears to be located on the inside face of the pack. We can see the reverse of a green circuit board next to the HV connector.

2024 Audi MHEV Plus
It is interesting comparing this pack to the sister company Audi’s MHEV Plus that uses a 48V LFP based pack:
- 48V with a 1760Wh battery
- Chemistry = LFP
- Nominal voltage = 46.2V
- Nominal capacity = 37Ah
- Configuration = 14s 1p
- Cooling = liquid
How come the power is 57 kW? When I check the V4Drive cell, it should be a max. C-rate of c. 20, while the PAG news release states power of the PMS of 40 kW
Sorry, think I picked that up elsewhere, will correct all of the numbers to this 40kW motor which I assume in my calculations is 90% efficient and hence needs 40/0.9~44kW from the battery pack.
