Polestar 3 Performance Battery

The Polestar 3 shares the Volvo SPA platform with Volvo EX90.

Note: Lotus has its own derivative of the SEA platform called EPA. SEA and EPA has many similarities while SPA and SEA is quite different.

Specifications

  • Usable Energy = 107 kWh (Total = 111 kWh)
    • SoC Window = 96.4
  • Nominal Voltage = 375 V
  • Nominal Capacity = 296 Ah
  • Peak Power = = 422 kW10s
  • Configuration
    • 102s 2p
    • Total Cells = 204
  • Charging
    • Peak Power = 250 kW
    • 10 to 80% SoC time = 30 minutes
  • Pack Mass = 664.7 kg

Note: the pack energy density is given as 167 Wh/kg and the total energy is given as 111 kWh in the EPA filing. Hence the pack mass = 1000 x 111 / 167 = 664.7kg
